The Berlin Institute of Management Science (BIMS) is a system of loosly coupled researchers
as living systems - a network. The aim of this network is to communicate, to publish, and to
organize meetings together bridging the gap beetween real business and science or
talk and action. This bridge building is additionally supported by contract research.

The Berlin Institute of Management Science (BIMS) was founded by Dr. Holtmann and
Dr. Roedenbeck in early 2008. They both have earned their doctoral degree (Ph.D.) from the
Freie Universität Berlin
as members of the Pfadkolleg. Thus,
they went through a fundamental training in scientific working.
The Berlin Institute of Management Science (BIMS) is based in Berlin-Steglitz
close to the campus of the Freie Universität
